Andes Central School held a very successful 2023 Science Fair for PreK-12th grade students on May 16, 2023. Student projects covered a wide range of science topics, including plants, forensics, physics, biology, microbiology, chemistry, mechanics, and aviation. Probably the highlight of the night was the live bee demonstration given by Ms. Jennifer Finkle, PreK/K teacher and local honey producer. Students in grades 5 through 12 were judged by a team of three dedicated judges, resulting in first, second, and third place winners, pictured below. First place winner Emma Robson presented her project results on bacteria to the ACS building and cafeteria staff in a special information session the following week.~
