On September 26th, 2021,  several members of the Andes Fire Department were recognized for their service to our community. David Ruff was recognized for 40 years of service in the fire department and Laurie Andrews was recognized  for 30 years of service as an EMT. Fire Chief Dale Tait,as well as Vicki and Barney Bush each received pins for 15 years of service.  Dave Biswurm was awarded the Firefighter of the Year Award for his unfailing dedication to service. Jim Andrews was awarded the  Andes Emergency Squad Member of the Year Award in honor of his outstanding dedication to community and resilience in all situations, no matter what the hour. ~
