IT’S ALL IN A DAY’S WORK AND THEN SOME – September 2021

Cows need food, water, grain and hay,

To put milk on the table each and every day.

The days are long as the equipment roars,

The round bales sit on field floors.

They get loaded and trucked, off to the farm,

Stacked in fashion and out of weather’s harm.

So when you eat your cheese or drink your milk,

Remember it came from the “grounds silk.”

The farmers tire and get their rest,

Because back to the job, to another day’s test.
