After an hour of reflection and discussion and evaluation by the Town officials and members of the public, the Town Board unanimously passed the following Motion:

To move forward with requiring the Commercial Tent Campsites and Transient Rentals to go through the Special Use Permit Process (like all other Town residents engaging in home businesses) with the Planning Board, but the Town Board will still have to work on a local law to determine what requirements must be met for a Special Use Permit to be awarded.   In the future, the Town Board will need to take further action to give the Planning Board more definitive rules to follow in the Special Use Process.  The Town Board will not be moving forward with the two proposed Local Laws as they stand presented, after the Motion at the June 16th workshop.
