MOUNTAINEER TRACKS December 2020

Robert L. Chakar, Jr., Superintendent

We are very disappointed that we are not able to host many of the events we usually do at this time of year. We have not been able to present our school musical or winter concert, host our veterans or senior citizens or take our annual school-wide trip to NYC to see a Broadway show. These were always very special events for our school and we hope to be able to continue the traditions next year.

We do still want to thank our veterans for their service to our country. It was always a privilege to be able to host them for a meal and some entertainment. We also want to thank our senior citizens for all their support throughout the years. We truly will miss not being able to host our annual senior citizens dinner, which has been an Andes tradition for so many years.

Our students have lost so many opportunities this year, but we were able to provide lots of fun events on Halloween. We would like to thank the Andes branch of Wayne Bank and the Andes Public Library for inviting our littlest ones to visit them during their parade through town.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a wonderful holiday season!
