The Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) has come out with a report stating that the numbers of our black bears and fishers are declining in the Adirondacks, but both species are thriving in the Southern Tier.
The last Comprehensive Plan was prepared and published in 2003 so a new one is needed. A 8 page questionnaire will be sent to all residents. Once they are received by the Town they will be collated and a Public Hearing will be held in the Spring.
