TOWN PLANS TO RAISE BUILDING PERMIT FEES

PUBLIC HEARING 6:45 on MAY 14^th

Andes Town Board considered the following permit fee raises proposed by Code Enforcement Officer Artie Short on March 12th. They set May 14^th at 6:45 for a Public Hearing to hear from the public before final approval or disapproval.

1. Single family Dwelling Units

Site built……………………..to $375 from $325

Pre Fab……………………….to $375 from $325

Multi-section (modular)……..to $375 from $325

Single-wide…………………..to $250 from $225

2. Additions, Alterations/Renovations/Restorations/Conversions to $125 from $100
3. Decks and Porches to $75 from $55
4. Accessory Structures (sheds, garages, etc.) to $75 from $55

(Detached buildings of 140 sq. ft. or less are exempt.)

5. New Commercial, Industrial, Institutional Structures to $475 from $425
6. Conversions, Additions, Alterations of above structures to $275 from $225
7. Chimney, Fireplace, Woodstove, Boiler Installations to $55 from $45
8. Inspection of Buildings of Public Assembly to $50 from $35

Other fees proposed to remain as they are.~
