ACS will open its doors to students for the 2018-19 school year on Tuesday, September 4th.
We have hired Ms. Jackie Frederick as our new Dean of Students/CSE Director, replacing Mr. Gary Winghart, who resigned to take another position, and Ms. Katie Pardee as Teacher Aide/Athletic Director to replace Ms. Courtney Hoyt, who has been hired full time at SUNY Delhi.
We are anxious to host our tenth annual “Evening of Excellence” on Thursday, October 4th, to honor students who maintained an average of 90% or higher during the four quarters of the 2017-18 school year. This is always a wonderful evening of celebrating these students and their academic accomplishments from the previous school year.
The Drama Club is planning to present its fall show in early December. Rehearsals will be starting shortly after school begins. Please look for more information as we move closer to the production dates. Our school has once again merged with South Kortright Central School for our fall soccer and golf; all the students continue to do very well.
We are looking forward to another successful school year at Andes Central School and hope to see you at many of the events hosted at Andes Central School this year.~
