Sit down and feed, and welcome to our table.”
— Shakespeare; As You Like It (Duke Senior: Act II, Scene 7)
Is your garden flourishing? Too much produce to consume at your own savory table? How about sharing your surplus with the Community Food Bank? Food may be delivered during the hours of operation (see below) or call 676-4753 or 676-3747 to arrange a drop-off time. Thanks!
More than 100 snack packs were provided during the summer CROP program at Andes Central School, by the Community Food Bank. Each snack pack contained at least 5 delicious snacks – a variety of fresh fruit, crunchy veggies, nuts, seeds, cheese, whole grain crackers, and dried fruit and vegetables. Warm thanks to volunteers Buffy Calvert, Mary Sheerin, Bev Travis, Tom Joyce, Wyva Hasselblad and Joi Brundege.
