Our doors opened a month ago on Thursday, September 4^th for the 2014-15 school year seamlessly and with great excitement.

During the month of October, we are hosting our fourth annual “Evening of Excellence” on Thursday, October 2nd, to honor students who maintained an average of 90%+ during the entire 2013-14 school year. Also, be aware that school will be closed on October 13^th to celebrate Columbus Day.

On Thursday, October 23^rd, Andes will have its Fall Open House beginning at 6:30 pm. School will be closed on Friday, October 24^th for a conference day for faculty and staff.  Lastly, Andes will be completing its practice Emergency Evacuation Drill (leave 15 minutes early) on Friday, October 31^st..

We are looking to do a second “school wide” field trip to see “Aladdin” on Broadway on Wednesday, October 22^nd. All students in PreK – 12 will have the opportunity to take advantage of this wonderful event.

Lastly, during November, our Drama Club is planning to present its fall show of “The Sound of Music” on November 14^th & 15^th. Rehearsals have started and will continue through the coming weeks.

We are looking forward to another successful school year at Andes Central School and hope to see you at many of the events hosted at the school this year.~
