New for 2011!  E-BOOKS!  Collaboration between the Four County Library System and service provider, Overdrive, has resulted in the availability of downloadable electronic and audio books to 4CLS card holders from participating libraries such as the Andes Public Library. Called Download Zone, this new feature is compatible with a variety of computers and portable devices (one notable exception is the Kindle.)  Currently there are a couple of hundred titles in the catalog, with more than 30,000 others available through Project Gutenberg, a site which offers public domain electronic books at no charge.    Go to www.4cls.org   and click on Download Zone to learn more, or stop by the library with your questions.
