With the latest rotation of the Audio Circuit program in May, we received 46 new titles. If you like listening to books while you drive, work out or do chores around the house and yard, come take a look at what’s available in this new set. Among those now on our shelf are: The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society by Mary Ann Shafer, I Think There’s a Terrorist in My Soup by David Brenner, A Song Flung up to Heaven by Maya Angelou, All Night Long by Jayne Ann Krentz and Blue Heaven by C.J. Box. These volumes will be available here at the Andes Public Library until mid-August.
We’ve been receiving so many wonderful donated books lately that we can no longer fit them all on the shelf where we display our new books. So that our patrons can more easily peruse these for titles they haven’t yet read, we’ve created a new section for these “New to Us” items. Look for them over by the audio books next time you stop in.
A new feature at the library is a “Comments” sheet where you can leave notes about books or DVDs that you recently borrowed. Already quite a few patrons have been eagerly sharing their reviews. ~
