Supervisor Donnelly has nominated Isabella Mincarelli to the Delaware County Youth Bureau for recognition of her volunteer efforts in Andes.

With talks about some form of Senior Housing Project possibly coming to the hamlet, it is stressed that the Andes Wastewater Treatment Plant has ample capacity for such an endeavor. When the plant was built, NYC would not allow basement drains, sump pumps and/or storm water to flow into the plant because of possible chemical contamination and for no other reason.

At the November 11th meeting, the budget for 2010 was passed. The budget represents a rise of only 4.6% over 2009 figures, despite increased retirement and health insurance costs and decreased revenues.
