It is difficult to believe that the first quarter was over on November 13th. The Class of 2010 has successfully completed twenty-five percent of its senior year and is well on its way to the second quarter. Our seniors have been working hard at completing all of their graduation requirements with the assistance of many, including our guidance counselor, Mr. Reynolds.

At this junction, two of our students have been accepted to college; specifically, senior Cody Ruff into Paul Smith’s College in the Adirondacks and Justin Mohr at Adirondack Community College in Glens Falls. We are proud of their accomplishments and are looking forward to many more college acceptances.

Ms. Noonan’s, Ms. Ennist’s, and Ms. Tucker’s classes had a wonderful turn out working with Open Eye Theater on October 29th. Students enjoyed presenting their production to the audience of parents, teachers and community members.

Lastly, our building project is progressing well. The playground has been completed and is now A.D.A. compliant. The bus entrance and back parking lot has been completely blacktopped and is looking wonderful. We continue to work closely with the architect, the contractors and our Clerk of the Works as we prepare for the project’s completion by the end of the month. ACS has tentatively scheduled a Ribbon Cutting ceremony for Tuesday, December 1st at 11 a.m. Go Mountaineers! ~
