The Andes Public Library continues to “spruce up”. We will be installing a new sign and moving some of the shrubs from the front of the building. There will also be a new parking area on the side of the building. This will make it easier for everyone to find us and stop by.
If you haven’t been in the library for a while you will be pleased to find the newly renovated interior is bright and open. It’s a lovely place to sit and read, browse through our collection, use the public access computers, attend one of our programs or avail yourself of wireless access on your laptop. We have many new books for sale inside and on the porch. The library book group continues to meet on the 1st Thursday of the month from 4-6 pm and always welcomes new participants. There is a Story Hour on Wednesdays at 11:00 am for young children. We are also looking for new volunteers to help out in the library, assist with programs, or share ideas. You can find out more about volunteering by calling 676-3333. ~
