From Dave CyrelsonThe PTSA sponsored an event with Story Laurie and her storytelling troupe. Those in attendance were enthusiastic during the performance and all remarked afterwards that it was wonderful.
At the recent “Movie Night” at the school, we showed the movie, “Kung Fu Panda,” at no cost to students and parents. The room was filled for this activity.
The PTSA earns money through redeemable bottle and can returns collected at the Transfer Station. Please continue to drop off your empties at the red shed. Thank you.
On Saturday, December 13th, the PTSA is planning to offer local parents an opportunity to do some holiday shopping, house cleaning, or just childfree relaxing. The PTSA is proposing to provide a 6-hour child sitting service for only $20 (for up to 3 siblings, each additional sibling after 3 is $10). If there is sufficient interest, parents would be able to bring their 4 – 12 year olds to the school where well-qualified sitters would entertain the kids from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm with games, crafts, lunch, a movie, and a nap. If you’re interested, email Sue Mackay at mackays325@catskill.net or drop a note in the PTSA mailbox in Jan Steven’s office at the school.
If you have any comments or suggestions you’d like to share with the PTSA, you can attend one of our meetings, contact Dave Cyrelson at 676-4853, send an email to cyrelson@catskill.not, or drop a note in the PTSA mailbox at the school
