If you haven’t stopped by the Andes Public Library lately you may not know that we’re settled now into our interim space at 295 Main Street – across from the Hunting Tavern and the bank. The library is freshly painted and the big front windows make the space bright. There’s plenty of parking on the side of the building and we’ve extended our library hours for the fall. The schedule is:
Monday 1-7
Tuesday 1-7
Wednesday 1-4
Thursday 5-8
Friday 1-5
Saturday 10-12
Although many of our books are now in storage, we continue to acquire new books and our audio book rotating collection was changed in September. We have many new books from the New York Times Best Seller hardcover fiction list, including:
The Story of Edgar Sawtelle
by David Wroblemski
The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Society
by Mary Ann Shaffer & Annie Barroms
American Wife
by Curtis Sittenfeld
Devil Bones
by Kathy Reichs
Off Season
by Anne Rivers Siddons
