Sandy Wynn graciously hosted our yearly picnic at her home on Wolf Hollow Road on Thursday, July 17th. Seventeen Andes Senior Club members and three guests gathered on a shady spot of the lawn to relax, enjoying the breeze and scenic view. Sandy had set up tables on the screened-in porch where we all assembled when everyone had arrived. Picnic food was served from the dining room, desserts were in the kitchen and chicken and hamburgers were grilled outside. Many thanks to our hostess, Sandy, and to Bill Elwood and Fred Berghammer who manned the grill. The rain held off until mid-afternoon, so our day was not spoiled.

The next meeting will be held on Thursday, August 21st. Blood pressure screening will be from 11:30 to noon, followed by lunch and the monthly meeting. On the agenda is a discussion on nomination and election of officers as well as a report on our upcoming trip. ~
