Trustee Mary Tucker does some spring cleaning at the Andes Public Library

In an effort to be available to everyone in our community, The Andes Public Library will be changing its hours of service for the summer. Beginning June 1st, the library will be open: Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays: 1 to 5 pm; Wednesdays: 11-5 pm; Thursdays: 5-8 pm; and Saturdays: 10-2 pm.

Our library participates in a rotating audio book circuit, and we have just received many new titles that are available on either CD or tape cassette. Other audio books that are not in our own current collection can always be borrowed from the Four County Library System through the Andes Public Library.

New DVDs are being added to our collection every day. Check our collection of new bestsellers in fiction and non-fiction.

Put Saturday, June 21st, from 11 to 4 pm on your calendar, for the “Early Summer GardenTour”. A self-guided tour will feature a dozen beautiful gardens in Andes, each one with a different emphasis and look. The proceeds will be used for the much-needed Parking Area.~
