Evangelist F. M. Ross, of Elmira, will begin a series of revival meetings in the Andes M. E. Church, March 3.

The village water is very low and unless a thaw soon arrives we will [be] without water. In case of a fire there would be no water to fight it.

The Postoffice department has issued one cent postage stamps in book form. Each book contains 24 stamps and sells for 25 cents.

John Connor will have a sale at the John Dodds Hotel, Delhi, March 2, of bulls, cows, heifers, horses. One cow is guaranteed to make 2 ½ lbs. of butter per day. One horse can trot a mile in 2:12.

When your telephone rings you can not be sure that it is you that is wanted. The wires are crossed and the service is “on the bum.” The owners owe it to the patrons to put the line in working order.

Border Land at Union Hall, Friday and Saturday evening was all that had been claimed for it. Those who took part did exceptionally well, whether it was Irishman or Indian girl, villain or pal, banker or belle, scout or maid.

The D. & E. officials have finally located the turn-table at Andes which we understand will be on the lands of William Wight.

John L. Cole, Honesdale, Pennsylvania, was here Saturday and was looking over the town and making inquiries regarding the location of a glass factory.~
