Happy New Year! We at the Andes Public Library wish everyone in the Andes community and all our friends and supporters far and wide all the very best in 2007. Our library looks forward to offering all those in the Andes area the books, books on tape, magazines, DVDs, and videocassettes that meet the needs of our diverse and widespread community. We are delighted to announce that we now have music CDs available to our patrons. While our music CD collection is still in its infancy stage, it still has exciting choices including jazz, opera, country western, blues, and rock.  They can be found near the DVD shelves and are available for a two-week loan period. While we plan to expand this collection, the Andes Library is always very grateful for donations. So please think of us if by chance you received any CD duplications this past holiday season or are streamlining your own CD collection. Now that winter is really upon us, we at the Andes Library look forward to providing you with the books, tapes, magazines, and music that will make our cold Catskill winter season more palatable.
