FROM PAKISTAN TO TUSCANY ALL IN DELAWARE COUNTY CELEBRATING DIVERSITY AND LEARNING ABOUT ONE ANOTHER.

Approximately 35 members of the community who regularly attended the monthly Pakistani feasts at the Cottage Cafe, formerly operated by Asif and Roohi Hasan, were reunited and graciously welcomed by Dom Rana from The Cafe on Main in Margaretville. Dom prepared a buffet of Tuscan foods and stated, “Cultivating friendships and developing compassion toward others is what makes a community. We need to support one another.” Nathan Friedman who joined in on the festivities said, “I like the diversity that we have here in these hills.” Andes own Lenny Duensing said, “With my busy work schedule, I often don’t get out. But I do make every effort to be with this group. The people are warm and the conversation is always lively and interesting.”
