To make way for the Delhi firm of Denison-Finn to do the renovation and restoration of the library building, the Andes Public Library will be moving on September 2nd to 295 Main Street, the light green building catty-corner across the street.

LIBRARY RENOVATION NEWS!! At last our long dreamed of, talked about, and planned for library renovation is going to happen! By SEPTEMBER 1, 2008 the library will be moving to temporary quarters for approximately six months while renovations take place.

Kids in the Kaatskills will be returning to The Andes Public Library this summer. The Arts and Nature programs will be held on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays for three weeks from July 30th to August 15th.

In an effort to be available to everyone in our community, The Andes Public Library will be changing its hours of service for the summer. Beginning June 1st, the library will be open: Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays: 1 to 5 pm; Wednesdays: 11-5 pm; Thursdays: 5-8 pm; and Saturdays: 10-2 pm.
