  Back home, I connected to Zoom in time to hear a portion of the discussion on the proposed new greenhouse structure behind Catskill Regional Harvest on Route 28 north of Andes hamlet.

Resolution 13 of 2022 passed to accept bid from Balcom for purchase of the Town property at 29467 Highway 28, Andes, NY (tax map number 238.-1-22) “as is” and to authorize Town Attorney to prepare a quitclaim deed and to authorize the Supervisor to close on the property. Closing costs are to be paid by bidder.

   William Duke: Re: Water and Sewer Connection at 486 Main Street: Bill Duke spoke in regards to connecting a building which he also owns to the sewage laterals at 506 Main Street. This would link the two buildings without tearing up Main Street to access sewer lines.

TOWN ADOPTS CAMPSITE REGULATIONS LAW AND OPTS OUT, AT THIS TIME, FOR CANNABIS RETAIL DISPENSARIES. NEW TOWN CLOCK HAS ARRIVED AND READY FOR MAIN STREET – November 2021

   Public Hearing held on Proposed Local Law to regulate commercial tent campsites & Proposed Local Law to opt out of allowing cannabis retail dispensaries and on-site consumption sites as authorized under Cannabis Law Article 4.Commercial Tent Campsites: Cyndi Wright of Dirty Girl Farm, spoke against the local law. David Levesque, Weidick Road, Spoke in favor of the local law.

   Cannabis Opt-Out: Peter Calvert of Delaware Ave. spoke against opting out. Kevin Collins, Coss Road and William Duke, Hyzer Hill Road, spoke in favor of a local law opting out.
