Natural stone and mossy rocks are a mainstay of the Kyoto garden. They are everywhere, and I always say “you can never have too many rocks.” I love the way they use stone.

Smith V. Dickman of U.S.S. Leviathan is spending a ten days furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Dickman, on Dingle Hill. He has just returned from his tenth trip abroad.
So, I want to salute Jeff for his enlivening presence in our community (remember the tractor dance, his concept choreographed by David Capps for Dancing in the Park?), and for the reminder his example gives us that we make our own opportunities for building a useful, enjoyable and full life–maybe especially in retirement.
Each year we have a special celebration of distributing Christmas stockings full of extra special snacks, and gifts such as soft toys and pencils. We invite our readers and supporters to contribute to this event. Checks may be made out to Andes Healthy SnakPaks and sent to the above address or given to one of the volunteers.
