Be aware that school will be closed on Monday, October 8th to celebrate Columbus Day. School will also be closed on Friday, October 19th for a conference day for faculty and staff. Andes will be completing its practice of the Emergency Evacuation Drill (leave 15-minutes early) on Friday, October 26th.

The week of October 22nd – 26th has been designated as New York State School Board Recognition Week. We would like to take this opportunity to thank those community members who are currently serving on our Board of Education, as well as those who have served in the past. Thank you for the time and dedication you give to the children of Andes.
Lastly, during November, our Drama Club is planning to present its fall show of “Captain Louie, Jr.” on November 9th & 10th. Rehearsals have started and will continue through the coming weeks.
Our annual Senior Citizen dinner is scheduled for Friday, December 7th at 1 pm. We always enjoy seeing our Andes Senior Citizens and being able to thank them for all their support throughout the years.~
