Ten volunteers got together for a “Santa’s Workshop” to make Christmas stockings for the 42 children in the Snak-Pak program – all the children in grades Pre-K through 3rd. The creative and imaginative Santa’s helpers used ribbons and stars, yarns, bells, and spangles to turn the felt stockings into festive receptacles for walnuts, healthy chocolates, and nut bars. These, along with clementines, apples and cheese sticks were distributed to the super excited kiddies on Thursday December 15. The community support that you have provided for this program made this possible. We thank each one of you, our friends and neighbors, for your generosity and for being part of the Andes Healthy Snak-Pak program!
