THE TIN HORN AND ALFALFA’S ANTIQUES AT 72 MAIN: New Things in Store

So many people have expressed sadness at the disappearance of two popular shops and their proprietors. At 72 Main Street, there is no longer a Mercantile or a Brooke’s Variety, and those stores and their offerings will be missed. But the good news is that the spaces will not be vacant.

There were too many hard times when I was growing up, but Christmas was always wonderful. My Mom and Dad loved their children, spouses and grandchildren. At home, Mom was the CEO and Dad added humor.
