Don and Anita Lanziero, who last year purchased the house at 389 Main Street–next to St. Anne’s Church–will be retiring here in Andes from Florida. They have been doing extensive renovation, handling most of the work themselves, with the hope of also restoring the crooked barn, Anita says. Their 6 grandchildren will be visiting often from Manhattan.
Jennifer Lyke and James Miller moved into 319 Main Street (Bill Taylor’s house) and hope to be long term renters. Jennifer, who grew up in Woodstock and Roxbury, and later lived in Pine Hill, enjoys the familiar and comfortable aspects of a walkable village. James, from Staten Island, is looking for work as a cook. They are expecting a baby girl in July.
Though we don’t do birth announcements per se, we could mention that 4 Andes babies arrived in quick succession after the full moon last week: Brie’s, Seema’s, Jen’s, and Laurie’s. ~
