LIBRARY NOTES – February 2003

by Gloria Carlson

Now, when the winter seems longest and coldest, reading a good book in a toasty room has a special appeal. If you have a must-read book in mind, and don’t see it on the library shelves, please ask the librarian. We at the Andes’ Library will either order it from the Four County Library System or get it for the library’s collection. Your library’s goal is, as always, to support the Andes’ community’s reading needs.

The Library’s first GAME NIGHT, held on Thursday, January 16th at 7 pm, brought together a wordy group of gamesters for an enjoyable game of Scrabble. Come to future GAME NIGHTS on the first and third Thursday of each month from 7 to 9 pm. GAME NIGHTS in February will be on February 6th and 20th. Monopoly anyone?

If, by any chance, you happen to have an overdue library book or videotape, remember that February is an OVERDUE BOOK AMNESTY MONTH. All returns will be gratefully accepted, no questions asked! See you at the library! ~
